One bright Saturday morning found us looking at a picture of a scruffy little white dog on a rescue website. His back was to the camera, but his face was clear as he peeked at the lens over his shoulder. Those beautiful brown eyes called to us, and within a few hours, we were opening our front door and letting him into our house and our hearts.
